Coles insurance

Anyone had dealings with Coles insurance? Just finished a quote for a customer who wanted us to do the work.Coles told them they had to use a recommended repairer or they would not honor the claim. Read fine print before choosing your insurance company.

At face value this appears to be a blatant breach of the Trade Practices Act RE section called; Third Line Enforcing, and is probably misuse of market power. You need to address a complaint with the customer, as it is the customer who has been grieved. The same may apply to the panel industry as far as I am aware - Toyota insurance is directing you where to buy parts.

Kind Regards,
Phill.
