Holden has confirmed the $59,990 price for the volt which will be available in Australia later this year.
The Volt is propelled by a 16.5-kWh lithium-ion battery and electric motor that has an estimated 111kW and 370Nm and can provide a pure electric range of up to 87km.
The vehicle also has a 1.4-litre petrol engine that is used purely to keep a charge in the battery – not drive the wheels directly – to give a range of more than 600km depending on driving conditions. for the full story please visit news.com.au
